Ladies Land Army Pull Over / Jumper and Stockings, 36" Chest, 4ply, 40s Knitting Pattern, P&B 2792

P&B, 2792. PDF Pattern

The pattern has been retyped exactly as it was. Unfortunately I have had to make a new cover as the original is too damaged to work with.
The pattern suggests 10oz 4ply Wool (old 4ply) with 9 & 11 needles.
I have knitted it up in acrylic DK 4x100g balls using same needles and it has knitted to a 40.5" chest.
I have also knitted it on 8 & 10 needles again acrylic DK 4x100g balls and it has knitted to 43"chest.

Land Army Pull-Over and Stockings sizes;
Pull-Over actual measurements:- Length from top of shoulder, 22". Width all round at underarm, 36". length of sleeve from under arm 17".
